Never used a laundry service before? Here’s exactly how it works, start to finish.
Step 1: Schedule Online
Head to the Scheduling page to book your pickup. Choose your pickup day and timeslot. Morning and afternoon timeslots are available.
You will receive a confirmation when you book and a reminder prior to pickup.
First-time clients will receive a short preference form — detergent choice, number of household members, where to leave your bags, and a few other simple questions.
If you would like to reserve a spot on the schedule the same day each week, simply call or text at 715-513-9494. A limited number of recurring weekly pickup spots are available Monday through Thursday.
Step 2: Bag It and Leave It
On the day of your pickup, put your laundry in whatever bag you have, such as a laundry bag or garbage bag. Leave it outside your door before your scheduled timeslot. That’s it. No need to sort. No need to be home. No need to do anything else.
Special care items: Bag and label separately. Include your own hangers for all hang items.
- Delicates: Washed and dried on the delicate cycle.
- Hang dry: Washed then hung to dry. Include your own hangers.
- Hang only: Washed, dried in the dryer, then hung. Include your own hangers.
River Valley Laundry Co. will pick up your laundry within one hour of your timeslot. You will receive a text once it’s been picked up.
Step 3: Wash, Dry, Fold
While you enjoy your free time, River Valley Laundry Co. goes straight to work. Your laundry is sorted, washed, dried, and folded according to your preferences. All laundry products are included.
Your laundry will be stacked by clothing type and packaged by family member.
Step 4: Fresh Laundry at Your Door
Your clean, freshly folded laundry is back at your door within 24-48 hours. Most laundry is completed by the following day, although larger orders may require the full 48-hour turnaround time.
It will be neatly packaged and ready to put away. You will receive a confirmation text the moment it is delivered.
No waiting around. No trip to the laundromat. Just clean laundry waiting at your door.
Step 5: Payment
Following delivery, you will receive a text message with a secure payment link. Your payment amount will be based on the completed dry weight of your laundry. You will see the exact pound weight and total before you pay.
Pricing consists of a straightforward per-pound rate of $1.75/lb plus Wisconsin sales tax of 5.5%. Oversized items, such as comforters, are priced separately at $20 per item. That’s it. No extra fees or surprises.
Payments can be made online using any major credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
